On Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., the Cherokee County Republican Party will convene Precinct Mass Meetings at The Northside Cherokee Conference Center at the Bluffs, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton GA 30114 to elect Delegates and Alternates to the Cherokee County Republican Party Convention. All Cherokee County residents who are legally registered to vote on or before February 1, 2016, and who believe in the principles of the Republican Party are urged to participate in the process.
Registration will open at 9:00 a.m. on February 20, 2016.
YOU MUST BE IN THE BUILDING BY 10AM TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PRECINCT MASS MEETINGS. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS MADE TO THIS RULE.
The Precinct Mass Meetings are the first step towards becoming a delegate to the Cherokee County Republican Party Convention where we will be electing Delegates and Alternates to the 11th District Convention and GAGOP State Convention. There are no local party elections taking place this year the Precinct Mass Meetings, County Convention, District Convention and State Convention will be convened solely to elect delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio later this year.
If you are interested in being nominated to become a Delegate or Alternate to the Republican National Convention you MUST take part in the Precinct Mass Meetings and County Conventions.
