Dear CCRP member:
The CCRP Nominating Committee is currently accepting Resumes and Letters of Intent until March 3, 2023, 5:00 p.m. for anyone who will be running for an officer position on the CCRP Executive Committee (EC). You must go through this vetting process to be qualified to run. These officers will be elected at the March 11, 2023 County Convention for a two-year term that will begin immediately upon the election through the 2025 County Convention date (TBD).
Offices and each job description are listed in the 2020 By-Laws, pages 11-16 (Wild Apricot).
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS:
Please include all contact information: cell phone, physical address, and email address. Make sure your resume covers your work history (last 10 years), hobbies, organizations and / or clubs you enjoy; but it is very important to include and focus on your political involvement and activities.
In your Letter of Intent discuss why you are interested in the position you are seeking and what makes you uniquely qualified for the position.
Please send your Letter of Intent and Resume to VC-candidates@cherokeegop.org (Marsha McClure).
In the subject line, please type “Candidate Interest for __________” and specify which position you are seeking.
Interviews will be scheduled once we begin receiving resumes. Once again, ALL Application Documents and information requested above are due no later than March 3, 2023, 5:00 p.m., but we will certainly welcome them earlier.
