City of Canton “Candidates Meet & Greet”
When: Wednesday, October 25th, 2023
Timing: from 5:30 – 7:15pm
Location: RT Jones Library, 116 Brown Industrial Pkwy, Canton
Details: The Cherokee County Republican Party is hosting an opportunity for residents of the City of Canton to meet and hear from candidates who are seeking the office of Mayor or a contested City Council seat. Each candidate attending the event will have 5 minutes to address those in attendance and share their platform and priorities for the future. Additionally, there will be 7 questions posed by a moderator to each candidate, followed by general questions from the audience for about 20 minutes after the initial Q&A has been completed. At the conclusion of this portion of the event, the rest of the time will be a social mingle, with light refreshments available.
