The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) class, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.

Through this training we will identify a true active shooter, examine the history of active shooter incidents and discuss the possible responses to various active shooter situations. We will also explore pro-active steps that can be taken to possibly reduce the likelihood of an incident occurring.

Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and considerations for conducting drills.
