NOTICE OF SPEAKER CHANGE!

Good evening, Cherokee County Republicans,

This email is to let you know that, unfortunately, the CCRP's scheduled speaker for DOGE-Cherokee has cancelled last minute. We apologize for any inconvenience - like you, we were looking forward to what this speaker had to say and are disappointed by the cancellation.

Rather than cancel the breakfast, we will instead hear a presentation from James Risner on data mining and AI, which will be crucial for Republicans to understand moving into 2026. We will also hear from our Vice Chair of Precinct Development, Marica Cox regarding ways new and existing members can get more involved! Guests will also get to briefly hear from Jacob Witzigreuter, President of the Cherokee County Young Republicans, as well as the opportunity to meet and speak to most of the new members of the CCRP Executive Committee before and after the breakfast. The CCRP still strongly encourages you to attend as the meeting will still have some great speakers and a lot of good information to share. It will be a great time to simply fellowship with like-minded Republicans over a meal!

Because this speaker cancellation comes last minute, the CCRP is happy to issue a refund to those who would rather cancel their registration. Please reach out to CCRP Treasurer Lisa Jaqua at treasurer@cherokeegop.org if you would rather have a refund than attend the breakfast.
