  The sole purpose of this convention is to elect 3 Delegates and 3 Alternates 

  of the 7^th District to the RNC in Milwaukee, WI.

  THIS CALL IS HEREBY ISSUED TO THE DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES TO THE 7^TH DISTRICT CONVENTION.

  The 7^th Congressional GOP District convention will convene on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM. No one not already in line at that time will be allowed to register or participate.

   

  The purpose of the 7^th District Convention will be to elect Delegates and Delegate Alternates to the 2024 Republican National Convention to be held in Milwaukee WI on July 15-18, 2024. The election of the Delegates and Delegate Alternates is in compliance with Georgia Election Code, OCGA § 21-2-195 & 21-2-196.

   

  All individuals wishing to be applicants for consideration of these Delegate and Delegate Alternate positions, must complete all requirements as published by the Georgia Republican Party (GAGOP) and any other requirements as communicated by State GAGOP Chairman Josh McKoon on March 21, 2024.

   

  All applications had to be completed per the GAGOP no later than Friday, March 29, 2024. No individual that has not completed the required process per the GAGOP will be considered by this Convention or any Committee of this Convention. Additionally, only the individuals that meet with the 7th District Convention Nominating Committee prior to the Convention may be considered for nomination for the positions of Delegate or Delegate Alternate to the 2024 Republican National Convention.

   

  Additionally, due to the Redistricting of 2023, we will reaffirm the 7^th District Party Rules and consider any necessary amendments to these rules submitted no later than Friday, April 5, 2024. Only those amendments properly submitted by the deadline may be introduced and considered by this Convention.

  The Cherokee County Republican Women  (CCRW) are hosting the 2024 Candidate Forums for contested seats affecting Cherokee County residents at the Canton Historic Courthouse located at 100 North Street in Canton. The Cherokee County Republican Party (CCRP) is co-sponsoring and participating in these events with the CCRW.  Please mark your calendars and make every effort to attend these Forums and bring others who are interested in gaining perspective on those who are asking for our support and our vote. It is our job, as We the People, to be actively engaged in this process so we may cast an informed vote in the May 21st Primary election. I hope to see many of you there.
